Domestic Abuse Awareness

The term domestic abuse covers all forms of domestic violence.

However as the terms are often used interchangeably we have used both throughout the module.

This course is set out in modules for you to follow in order in the first instance. As you work through the course, ensure you mark off each module as complete to record your progress.

This course is recommended for people working at level 1 who need only a basic awareness of domestic abuse, or as an introduction for new staff. Practitioners working directly with victims, families, adults and/or children must attend further in depth training. Details of training offered can be found on the Cambridgeshire Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership website at www.cambsdasv.org.uk
