Why Data Is Collected
We collect this data to deliver tailored learning experiences, monitor progress, issue certificates, and support safeguarding and curriculum delivery. Group data enables teachers and leaders to manage cohorts and track engagement.
We process personal data under the lawful basis of legitimate interest and/or contractual obligation, to enable secure access and content management on the iLearn platform.
Who Has Access
– Group Leaders (e.g. teachers, school admins) can view learner progress within their group.
– Trust-level administrators may access aggregated data for reporting and safeguarding.
– The ICT Service may access data for technical support and platform maintenance.
– No data is shared with third parties for marketing.
Third-Party Tools
Our platform uses WordPress, LearnDash LMS, and Uncanny Owl plugins. These tools operate within our secure hosting environment and no there is no transmitting of personal data externally.
User Rights
Inline with UK GDPR, where any personalised data is held, users rights include

Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for the duration of a user’s active role within the ICT Service or local authority. Personalised data will be securely deleted from the iLearn platform, upon termination of the school or LA that contract for use of the platform. The school or LA may have legitimate interest to collate and store any learning records for their staff. In this case, data subjects should liaise directly with the school or LA.
